I sent in 1000 slides of which some about 68 years old. The email arrived that they were ready came weeks earlier than I expected and I was so excited. The photos were now easily available on my computer at any time. No more setting up the screen, projector and getting the slide carousels. I have about 600 more to send in and then I can toss the carousels and have so much more space in my closet. I am sorry I had not done this sooner.
Great experience! I sent a ton of slides from my mother's childhood. It has been great to have these memories as she passed last year. The images are great and process was super easy. My only complaint is regarding drop of at Walmart to avoid shipping cost. I tried to do this, walmart had no idea what I was talking about, even after taking to several employees and manager. So I instead paid the shipping, but it was so worth it.
I'm very happy with the conversion of my old 8mm movies. I had them converted over the years to VHS, then DVD and each time they lost detail. Having them converted directly from 8mm to MP4 was much better, with the full color and details. The ordering process online was easy, and when I received the packing the instruction were clear. I was notified when they were received, processed and shipped back to me (I got them sooner than promised). I would order from YesVideo again with no hesitation.
I just received an email from yes-video, informing me that my order will Be delivered on May 16, 2021. I dropped off my order at a Costco on January 10th, 2021. I called their customers service to verify this information and I got a bunch of excuses, enty apologies. I was skeptical to trust this company with my memories. They have a mixture of reviews and decided to give them a chance with one of my tapes and was going to send the rest if the experience was good. I asked the representative about a discount due to the extended delivery date. She was really quick to refer me back to Costco and I sure Costco will refer me back to them. So far the experience has not been good, I will not give them another try with my tapes. I hope this company can send me the finished product in the 4 weeks that I was told it would take.
