Excellent experience! Had to check in at the front desk, and then only waited a few minutes. Went to two exam rooms to takes tests and pictures; never waiting for more than a few minutes. Then met with Dr. Englebert, and we went over the results in terminology that I can understand. He was great! Everyone that I worked with from when I walked in was courteous and professional. What a nice change from a typical doctor’s office!!
Dr. Engelbert and his staff did a thorough examination of my eyes. More importantly, he listened to my concerns and addressed them and my questions with sensitivity and compassion. Despite the 11/2 hour drive from my home to his office, I intend to return to him as my primary retinal specialist. I highly recommend him.
I've been treated in the past for Torn Retina, which was painless. This time was annual check for Macula Degeneration. He has a well-trained staff taking pictures at varying depths of the Retina. I'm actually in better shape than I was a year ago. He's a great doctor.
Great support staff, friendly and accommodating. Phil is excellent and I’m glad to see he is back. Doctor Engelbert has a technique that makes an otherwise uncomfortable procedure a “non event “. His extraordinary medical background and training allow a patient to have full confidence and minimal apprehension.
I only have good things to say about Dr Engelbert: his expertise, bedside manner and professionalism remain constant throughout the 4 years I have been under his care. His staff is also excellent.
