UPDATE (7 months after I left my original review): I decided to try shopping here again a few days ago and give them a benefit of the doubt to see if things have changed, since I happened to be in the area and needed some last minute items. While they did update their payment processing software since I last visited, the same cashier lady tried to overcharge me again for one of the items I bought. She did quickly apologize and then charge me the correct amount, but that was only after I confronted her after I saw the incorrect amount on the screen. Given my past experience with them, I can't tell whether this incident was truly an accident or not. All I can say is, double check your receipts and the screen they have before leaving anytime you shop here. **As a side note, I was aware of the change in ownership in September 2023, but I also came here several times shortly after that change took place, and that is what my original review was based on. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I've been here several times sporadically in the past several months, and almost every time, the lady at the register (it has been the same lady every time I was there) tried to charge me an extra time for an item here and there whenever I buy a large amount of items. Every time I've confronted her, she would always act like it was an accident or try to tell me that the charge was for something else I bought, since the receipts that print out don't tell you what each charge is for. During the times she would try to tell me that the charge was for something else I bought, I've had to carefully go through the math with her to show that she overcharged me, after which she reluctantly adjusted the charge. I would not have held this issue against them if it only happened once or twice, but the fact that this has happened almost every time I've been there along with the degree of resistance I received from the cashier the last time this has happened makes me suspect that these incidents were no accident. Because I feel like I cannot trust the cashier here to charge me correctly, and because I am tired of the amount of grief I have to go through each time to make sure I get charged the correct amount, I will no longer be shopping here. But if you are still interested in coming here for the grocery selections they offer, make sure to double and triple check your receipts.
