As someone who had previous programming experience going into this, I was extremely disappointed by this program. The education was shockingly out of date, and they claim to help you find a job, but all they seem to do is encourage you to search the normal way, offering (as far as I could tell) no direct connections to the industry. I highly regret spending so much money on this and would recommend spending yours elsewhere.
What can I say. The Tech Academy opened up so many opportunities for me! Every staff member or instructor I ever talked to or met was always extremely helpful and friendly. Amazing support from everyone there. The courses are challenging, but also extremely rewarding. I struggled with the curriculum quite a bit during the entire program, but I stuck with it, and because of that, my girlfriend and I were able to move to Oahu, Hawaii where we both landed jobs. I would 10/10 recommend this boot camp to anyone interested in a career in software development. Also, Here is a picture of us! Big thank you to everyone at the Portland campus!
