I was part of the initial group of students that started this program. I literally would not be in the career path I'm in, have the skills I have, or even the opportunities I have seen if it wasn't't for this program. If your child exhibits any inkling of a desire to pursue photography, or shows interests in thing like graphic design, advertising, or other paths in the creative field- they would benefit GREATLY from attending this program.
I was a part of this program during my last two years of high school. Not only did this program provide me with the tools necessary to express myself through photography, it also provided me with a place that felt like a second home. With the help of my NYC Salt mentors, I was able to substantially raise my SAT scores, which helped me be admitted into my dream school with a full ride. I will forever be grateful to everyone involved in the program for changing my life.
