I had a wonderful experience with this lactation consultant. She is incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel so supported throughout the process. She answered all of my questions with patience and provided clear, and practical advice. I highly recommend her to any new mom needing breastfeeding support.
As a first time mom, I wanted to make sure I successfully breastfed my baby. Stephanie provided me with immense support and guidance to set us up for success. We met once prenatal and she visited us as soon as we were home with the baby. She taught us different feeding positions which helped me post delivery. She also identified the tongue tie in the baby and provided us with references to get it released. With her help, I have now successfully breastfed my baby for 5 months. Can’t recommend Stephanie enough. She’s adept and knowledgeable at what she does!
Stephanie is one of the most caring humans I’ve ever met and she is a boss at what she does. I came to her office because I was having latch problems (my baby was healing from having had her lip and tongue ties released). My nipples were sore and bloody and the latch was sooo inconsistent. Sometimes it would take me 10-20 tries for my baby to be able to latch at all, which was very stressful and my baby would cry because she was hungry. After one single session with Stephanie we were already doing better. She made sure that I didn’t move a finger while I was in her office - she took care of my baby the whole time and changed her diaper. I felt so relaxed and encouraged after just one session. Stephanie’s help gave me so much hope that I could indeed breastfeed my baby. Then I came down with PPD and Stephanie was such an amazing support for me and my family. She encouraged me to wean off night feedings so I could rest (I was not doing well at all) and then guided me on how to get my milk supply back up after I started feeling better. Today I am 3 months postpartum and I’m exclusively breastfeeding and plan to continue as long as needed. My baby is thriving at 14 lbs and breastfeeding is an enjoyable experience. I don’t believe I would have been able to do it without Stephanie’s help. She was always deeply concerned about me as the mother of the child and took into consideration what was/is best for me. She went above and beyond in her care for me and my family. Not only is Stephanie an amazing lactation consultant, but also a deeply caring human being. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
