I don’t use Legacy as I am a Kaiser member but was transferred here via ambulance after a a severe allergic reaction and was swiftly discharged within 2 hours. All my RNs and the physician I saw were really kind and took good care of me. My only feedback would be in the short time I was in the waiting room it smelled like feces and overall just unpleasant even though there was nobody near me and it was fairly empty. Otherwise I was satisfied with my care here!
Came here for what turned out to be nursemaid's elbow. This is a condition that can be cured simply by bending the arm in a specific way. We waited about 10 minutes to be seen (wow!) It took the doctor around 10 seconds to pop it back in, and the doctor + nurses talked to us for a total of about 2 minutes tops. There were no consumable materials used during our visit. However, they billed my insurance $2,633. After insurance my visit was $311.05 Now, I get that care is expensive. Facilities are expensive and paying your staff is expensive. But I know parents with children prone to this that have taught themselves how to do this and done it successfully. Given the simplicity of this procedure I think this is just exorbitant.
