I went in for a few items to do some touch ups on a rental before moving out. Mimosa was working and greeted me with a smile, offered help finding things, checked me out with such a friendly attitude, THEN went so far above and beyond the call of duty. I mentioned I was seeking boxes for moving but didn’t want to buy a bunch as it’s just for storing until the movers come repack and she offered to save the shipment boxes and let me know. I was sick and couldn’t pick up so she took them home and held them until I could get there. This is absolute 5 star service and then some and she is amazing.

It’s disappointing how greed seems to have taken priority over helping customers. My son, who just started college here, lost the RFID chip in his key. I called Ace Hardware because I knew they handled key services. When I called, I was told they couldn’t program keys but could cut one. So, I called a locksmith to come out and program and cut a new key. Unfortunately, his cutting machine broke, but he was able to program the blank to the car. With the programmed blank in hand, I returned to Ace to have it cut. At that point, Ace refused to cut an “outside” key — meaning I would be forced to purchase a key from them, then find a locksmith to program it, and then possibly bring it back. I explained that no locksmith would agree to that, and the associate then informed me that Ace does offer programming — by appointment — contradicting what I had been told earlier when I called. Here’s the bottom line: Ace wouldn’t cut my key because they wanted to force me into buying a $10 key from them, even though I already had a perfectly good blank. I don’t understand the need to nickel-and-dime loyal customers. I won’t be shopping at Ace Hardware anymore. Fortunately, there are still businesses out there that value honesty and genuinely try to help people. Ace is clearly not one of them.

This location has a particularly great staff. I had an issue with my online order, but Vince took care of it right away. Will definitely be shopping here in the future

I popped in for a lock box to mount a key on the outside of my parents home. While I was there. I found a set of classic Christmas lights that had been sold out everywhere and when I asked if they had more. They said they were out. But they called around to several different stores. They found me 2 more strings that I needed. Very helpful!
