When looking for a realtor to buy our dream home, our criteria was someone with the dedication, experience, and knowledge to submit a winning offer. Darren wasn't on our radar, since he wasn't spamming us with postcards and flyers like other shady "car salesman"-type realtors. We chose him simply because he was the listing agent for our dream home, and we wanted the "dual agent" advantage. While this might have been foolish, we carefully read everything, and negotiated everything we could think of. A less honest agent would have taken advantage of us, but we felt Darren represented both parties fairly. What completely surprised us was Darren's followup after our purchase. While the sale was "as-is", he patiently took reports of any needed repairs, and made those free-of-charge -- not because he promised to or was under any obligation, but because he wanted a happy customer. Even three months after our purchase, he's still paying for certain repairs of "pre-existing conditions". Amazing! We were so impressed with Darren's performance, we later hired him to sell our condo. We were afraid Darren might not give his full attention to a relatively-inexpensive condo sale, but he exceeded our expectations by miles. Darren put his former general contractor experience to good use, not only coordinating new paint, flooring, cleaning, etc., but helping with the remodeling labor when the schedule got tight. The results were so stunning and perfect, we've been staring at the professional photos many times even after the sale, amazed at how beautiful our shabby little condo had become. Photos of other homes on the market looked ridiculous and amateurish by comparison. Darren was always available by phone or text message, and patiently answered our endless questions. Darren's strengths are his professionalism, honesty, integrity, and communication skills. We accepted an offer far above asking price, breaking the record for our complex. We sold a home to be proud of, and made another couple's dream come true. Also worth mentioning is Darren's secret weapon, his wife Kimberly, also a realtor with Keller-Williams. Her cheerfulness and helpfulness truly made both transactions a pleasure. We're looking forward to working with Darren and Kimberly again someday, next time we move!
