I had the pleasure of working with Efren today, and his customer service was outstanding! He was incredibly patient, never made me feel rushed, and took the time to understand what I was looking for. He was very knowledgeable and offered a range of great options that really suited my preferences. This was my first time visiting this location, and it was definitely worth the drive. I will be coming back when it’s time for my next pair of running shoes!
My boyfriend and I just walked out of the store with a few purchases. First impression, a young guy welcomed us and offered his assistance. He was helpful, answered questions, and was able to find the styles and sizes we needed. However, it appeared there was a condescending tone while interacting with him. He seemed he was bothered and we glimpsed a little bit of eye rolling as well. The bothered attitude made us feel as if we are expected to have the knowledge and understanding of the intricacies involved with picking the right running shoe. We are new to running and we decided to come to this store to get some helpful insights of what works for us. Although we did get what we came for, the experience itself was disappointing and we both agreed we walked out the store feeling slightly uncomfortable.
I had a fantastic experience. Friendly staff welcomed me upon entry into the store (even though I could clearly see all associates were busy with customers.); and told me they would be with me shortly. Within 5 minutes of that greeting, I had my own associate assistant to do a fitting with. Took their time getting feedback from me in what I was looking for and wanting; while also providing knowledgeable feedback to me to help provide the shoe brand and line that would fit my feet the best; while also providing the comfort I am looking for as someone just starting to get into running. No pressure put on me at all to make a purchase right then either; which was a very nice feeling....and they were more than willing to provide their in store shoe prices for the two shoes I was interested in. When I got home, I did some shopping around online, and found that their store price and my online options were pretty much the same amount (dollar wise); and the only real difference between the two choices (online or in store) came down to color choice availability, with online being the better choice in providing more variation of colors for both shoes I want to buy.
Showed up to get fitted for running shoes. As someone who has no experience with anything running, they walked me through the whole process step by step. Talked me about what to look out for so I don't get injured. Walked out with a new pair and a better understanding of running shoes!
