The Cuban Market is the only market where I was able to find essential Caribbean ingredients that I have not been able to find anywhere else in Texas. I love supporting local community businesses and business owners. I absolutely recommend the Cuban Market. There is also a cuchifrito located inside the market, where you can get tasty food, deserts, and café.
- UPDATE the store is so big and spacious now!!!! Amazing renovations!!! Looks beautiful and well organized! Found this through a recommendation on facebook! My bf is puerto Rican and he loves being able to have all the goodies from back home! The store is clean and well organized. It's a little tight of there's a lot of shoppers so patience is a virtue lol. Prices are reasonable and not a big up charge like other places we have been too. Lots of options cuban, puerto Rican, Dominican ect definitely check them out! We will be back!
If you are Puerto Rican this is a good place to shop for some of those essential products that you may miss from the island. They have Kikuet products, Old Colony sodas like the Cola Champaign flavor, pineapple flavor, and the grape flavor. They have Bimbo cookies, Limber icee in Tamarido, piña colada, and guava flavor. They have the masa de pastries and alcapurria. The clerk at the register said things sell out fast during the holidays so it’s good to shop ahead of time. I walked every aisle and walked away with a shopping kart full of groceries. Please show support for your culture by shopping in small places like this that try to bring your favorite products to your home.
