The staff are amazing, the psychiatrist is very understanding, and does their best to listen, they want to help, and it is so obvious that they care about helping, which is rare in the mental health field when it comes to inpatient. I just had an experience somewhere else and I’d say that CATC is comparatively and generally speaking a 10/10
Called in to inquire about their services in assisting mental health emergencies and they told me that my suicidal partner would first need to get a doctor’s prescription (???) and a referral before making an appointment with them. Don’t call yourselves a crisis assessment facility if you don’t help people during a crisis.
