**Deceptive Practices and Poor Customer Service** I had an extremely disappointing experience ordering directly from Corsair’s website during a promotional event offering 50% off. I placed my order, paid the high shipping costs, and received a confirmation — everything seemed fine. Then, without any warning or chance to resolve anything, I received an abrupt cancellation notice. No prior communication. No explanation. When I contacted customer service, I was told my order was canceled because both my billing and shipping addresses needed to be in the U.S. — which they were. The representative then claimed the shipping address was disqualified because it was a "freight forwarder," which it absolutely is not. I’ve used this address for years with multiple major U.S. retailers, including those with strict shipping policies, without issue. This was a made-up excuse, plain and simple. (It even says on the freight RECEIVER's website that they are NOT. I referenced this, and they were very dismissive.) What made matters worse was that the order was a birthday gift I had planned in advance. When I asked if they would honor the promotion if I reordered as they suggested, I was told the discount was no longer available — and they refused to make any exception. Instead, they placed the burden on me to start over at full price. The entire situation felt like an intentional move to avoid fulfilling orders at the discounted rate. Rather than admitting to an inventory or pricing issue, Corsair chose to fabricate shipping problems and blame the customer. Their lack of transparency, accountability, and basic customer care is deeply disappointing. If Corsair makes it this difficult just to place an order, I can only imagine the hassle if there’s ever a problem with the product itself. Based on this experience—and many similar complaints I’ve now seen — I strongly recommend avoiding buying ANY Corsair product.
