It's a college for missionaries. Spirit filled place where the worship is the priority. In one of the most rundown and under-resourced areas of Dallas, formerly a segregated part of town. The campus looks rundown and neglected in comparison to other campuses in this region. But going to school in a difficult environment may prepare missionaries for the hardships they'll face in their careers. I think this school would do better if it aimed to be a blessing to its own neighborhood, maybe with a community garden like the nearby Paul Quinn College.
