I live in Bookmark apartments, managed by Centro Management. My apartment was broken into 3 days ago, all of my jewelry was taken including family heirlooms. I have left numerous voice messages as well as emailed management in an attempt to retrieve security camera footage as the police requested. Centro Management has not so much as called me back. Obviously this is a time sensitive matter as well as a security issue for all residents who live here. Centro Management is a negligent management company.

I have lived here four two years . I was promised cabinet doors on my apartment. I took off work for installation three different times, and was told day of they couldn’t do it. A year later they were installed. However the maintenance crew used too large of brackets and didn’t bother screwing the cabinets into the actual frame . They put screws into brackets that are dangling no wood in sight. My doors are falling off . They come in and say they fixed it and that it’s complete yet the screws and brackets are exactly the same . My closet doors fall down and the brackets fly off and I am told it’s because I am putting too much in the closet . My refrigerator didn’t work for three weeks. I was told I had too much food in it and I shut the doors wrong . It was the element after they actually called a repairman but they quit doing that when he was telling them the appliances needed replaced. I begged for a replacement and was refused. I went without a fridge for that time and was prorated a hundred dollars. My dishwasher flooded every time that I used it . Maintenance told me it was because I didn’t run the garbage disposal while it was going . They ripped out the bottom panel and left it exposed for my cat to get stuck in because they bent it and it would no longer fit. My oven shocks me when I sweep around it. Maintenance told me that was normal. In the two years that I have lived here there have been five different property managers. I am paying more than a house payment to live in an unsafe apartment. I have went to the local government. Do not move in here . They do not care , the apartment pictures on line look nothing like the actual apartments. They can not keep steady employees, and we have had some good ones. They leave , you can’t keep track. The only thing that is consistent is that it’s falling apart and dangerous, they do not know basic facilities maintenance. In the two years living here I’ve not once been able to swim in the pool , it’s always broken but they do make repairs to the office and the lawn is over mowed . My washing machine quit working. They brought in another and put several huge dents in the walls . The new machine was filthy and would stop working. The maintenance person told me that it was because I shut the door too soft or too hard which somehow caused the machine to stop. After three days of the same load of laundry trying to get through one cycle they brought me another. I have contacted the local government and urge anyone that lives or has lived here to do the same . It’s very difficult to get anything done with the high turnover and staff that act like this is normal and I’m being difficult or asking too much . Two grand a month is too much to live like this , the standard is extremely low for safety , for the tenants and for their employees.
