I had the folks here do a custom air-cooled PC build for me and had a great experience. The faces here were helpful and friendly, the PC was put together within only 2 days and some change, and the build was quite well done. The cable management is excellent—no corners cut here. This was all provided at a fantastic price. My only nitpick/feedback is that the case's built-in GPU support bracket wasn't set up. That being said, it only took me two minutes to move it into position myself, and this oversight is understandable since built-in GPU support brackets aren't a super common feature in cases.

I’ve been coming either with my family or by myself to get from cables and keyboards to parts to assemble systems. There is a very good selection of deals and items; the staff is honest and knowledgeable. It’s great to have a place like this around.

The store itself is not bad just the employees. I had an extremely minor issue with sound on my Macbook and the guy who answered the phone absolutely did not care and quoted me $750…. I’m not sure how something like this would come up to be as much as the macbook itself not to mention he sighed immediately upon answering the phone. Take your business elsewhere if you have any repairs that need to be done on any of your items. Luckily my sound system went back to normal after a couple hours but everywhere else I called quoted around $300. It just feels like there’s no care

Those of us who grew up here, during the birth of the Silicon Valley, remember the “good ol days”; when we could get virtually any component, whenever we wanted, in person and at stores ( Fry’s excluded mostly) where people enjoyed helping and had a passion for tech. Although those days may be gone, there is hope in Central Computers, as the experienced attempt to keep the spirit alive and coach the younger generation into understanding the power of personal connections in tech. If your patient, respectful, & persistent- you should be able to just about every question answered. Just remember to wait your damn turn as the guest in front of you deserves the same treatment.

Fairly priced, I would give it 4.5 stars if they didn’t scratch the glass panels on my computer. Good selection of items. I went there to get all the parts for my pc, however the psu was defective which caused a lot of problems for my personally since I was new to pc building and don’t know how to diagnose it. They told me if I had to bring it in to get checked it’s a 3-5 day wait/return time. So I brought it to clevertech and they diagnosed it was a defective psu. Which I totally understand it’s not the stores fault. However after they tested the psu and did an exchange, I noticed they dropped one of the glass panels during the process and I found a big permanent scratch on the side of my pc case , which does bother me.
