Bay Alarm Company

I am upgrading from 2 to 4 stars only because the service I've received since speaking to the area manager. The tech he'd assigned to service my equipment was excellent. He was very nice and took his time to make sure everything is working correctly. ---------------------- I used to think Bay Alarm was reputable. I've had their system for 25 years and recently upgraded the equipment, which has been nothing but problem. Tech support can't figure out what the issue is and their senior tech failed to show up twice. Left numerous messages for management to contact me for months. I would never recommend Bay Alarm to anyone. Very unreliable.

Terrible company. Their employee dumps their van on the very edge of a curved street for the weekend. Making it impossible for residents to safely get in and out of their driveway. This van is just 1/2 inch under 7’. The company doesn’t care! He has a personal truck and a Bay Alarm truck, he could park them in his driveway! This is a busy narrow street. Bay Alarm and the driver have been contacted, they don’t care! Everyone dreads the weekends/ holidays because he dumps it there and we suffer the consequences. Just waiting for a serious accident.

They use to be a good company, not. Anymore! Sales dept the worst. Have had Bay Alarm since the late 80's. If I could give 0 stars, I would. Got a. "Comm Failure" msg on alarm. Call Bay Alarm, sent test signal, all ok. Could not clear "Comm Failure". Called for service, technician failed to clear "Comm Failed" msg. Was told not to worry about it, he didn't know why would not clear. Called corporate ocffice, left on hold 'till I gave up.

I tried to get a quote from Bay Alarm for a system at my restaurant. After I submitted the on line request someone called within a few minutes. I gave them my information and arranged a field visit with Angel Rodriguez for the following week. Well Angel never showed up or called, and when I called in to find out what happened I was on hold for twenty minutes with no answer before I finally gave up. I submitted a new website request and i think someone tried calling me back in a very short time, but as soon as I answered, they hung up. Then I got an email from a rep Kylee O’Shea asking if I still wanted a free quote. I replied on email with my story, and I never got any other call or email after that. I guess they respond quick to web requests, but that’s about it. I’d hate to think what would happen in an emergency!

Recently we had our alarm system upgraded added cameras & breakage sensors. Amador, Erick, Jefferson, and Jefferey Telgenhoff were wonderful. The guys were friendly, efficient, clean. Great group of guys. I would highly recommend Bay Alarm Company. 07/26/18 another technician Anthony came out to install 2 more contacts-another friendly, efficient, clean guy. Kudos Bay Alarm you have some wonderful people working for you.
