Aura Preparedness Training School

I had such a great experience in the EMT program here. I loved Vinny and Justine as my skills instructors. They are great teachers and people. The convenience of zoom for lectures was so helpful with my work schedule. Sean is awesome. I passed my NY state exam on my first try and currently studying for NREMT. I'm so happy I chose Aura prep.

If you’re preparing for the New York State EMT exam, Aura Prep is one of the best programs out there. They focus on what you need to know for both the written and practical parts of the certification. The content is clear and easy to follow, and everything is tailored to the specific protocols and standards in New York and NREMT. The instructors really know their stuff. They make complicated topics simple and share real-world examples that help you connect the material to actual emergency scenarios. The hands-on skills sessions are especially helpful for getting comfortable with things like patient assessment and using equipment. Overall, Aura Prep gives you the tools, knowledge, and confidence to succeed. If you’re serious about becoming an EMT, this is the program to go with.

My experience with Aura has been great. Hybrid Learning and in person skills with Amanda and the crew (Nicole, Hassani, Rob… a few others) this crew was amazing very knowledgeable and helpful. The instructors made sure no one was left behind. They were always available for questions and offered practical advice based on their real-world experience. Overall, Aura Prep exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to become an EMT-whether you re just starting or looking to refresh your skills.

I received my EMT education and training through Aura Prep and I am so happy I did! There are a lot of programs out there, but I felt that AP truly cared about student success and preparedness. The convenience of a hybrid model enable me to complete training while working full time. The coursework was taught by Sean, who was by far, the best educator I have ever had (and I have 12 years of post-secondary education!). He made the intense amount of learning enjoyable. I was also impressed with the intimacy of the small group skills setting. The instructors were just beyond knowledgeable and engaging. I am grateful to have been able to learn from them. I received my NYS license with ease, and that is all because of Aura Prep!

I came with no prior experience in EMT training, not knowing a lick of medical terminology , about half way through I started getting the hang of all the medical terminology and excited to say as an EMT student I passed the first attempt. Sean is an excellent instructor who always came with good energy, passion and knowledge. The EMT program was structured very well and Sean made the material easy to understand. I am glad I had the chance to experience such High quality training. I highly recommend if you want a great start into a career in medicine or healthcare.
