100% do not recommend using ADT. We have used them for the last four years and now that we sold our house they are making it very difficult to cancel the service since they claim the contract is for 5 years. Instead of a fee to break the contract early, they are requiring us to pay the remaining 10 months- almost 1,000$ for absolutely nothing. We will never use ADT again.
DO NOT RECOMMEND! DO NOT SIGN! EQUIPMENT IS USELESS AND YOULL PAY 2500. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Salesman are harrassing and don't even let you settle into a new home. Told them I wasn't living at the house just yet, they said I'd have time to cancel. They didn't specify it was 3 days from SIGNING! how can I test the equipment if I'm not living there. Obviously tried to cancel after the time period was told I need to pay 2500... CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!! Straight away, we can send a tech. No i want to cancel. Ok I'll transfer you.. Next person .I'm the last person you're talking with. And they transfer me and nothing got resolved.. Next time I call. I see you tried to cancel.. and now I'm getting attitude from the worker... Installation guy took down a lamp from my garage without my knowledge. Doorbell is absolutely useless.. doesn't ring and notifications are late.. flood light and backyard camera barely pick anything up... Absolutely garbage!!! DO NOT SIGN WITH THEM!!!!
