I worked with tax minimizers for a few years, ending with my 2023 taxes. I own a small business and we did our personal taxes there as well. At the start of 2024, our accountant (who we actually liked a lot) and who was in the middle of our taxes, walked away from his job, no notice given. I wasn't notified of this for more than two weeks, and had to reach out myself when I heard the rumors that he'd left. The accountant who took over assured me that things would be taken care of. She did do my taxes, however charged extra to review everything that he'd done. She made several assurances that thoughout 2024 we'd have a couple check-ins to make sure the business items were being done as they should, etc. It's now early 2025 and I haven't heard from TM since. I recently hired a new accountant and will gladly tell any other business owner who asks, to avoid TM. *In TM's response they indicated that they spoke with me yesterday, however I talked with no one. The "annual meeting" is far less service than I was told I should expect.
