Just finished my 6-week intensive workshop today And I have to say that this workshop was very worth it. I highly recommend. I have two incredible teachers, Mr.Mark and Ms. Janet. The patience and knowledge they provided were such a blessing. My classmates were phenomenal and talented. The energy, encouragement, knowledge, and guidance helped me through this workshop. I will be back to take up the After Effects Courses... MEW Rocks!!!!!
I had an incredible experience during the Six Week Intensive at the Manhattan Edit Workship. I had always planned to take the six week course but was hesitant about both the time commitment and the price. However, I had a gap in my employment and decided to jump in - one of the best professional decisions I have ever made. The teachers were incredible, hands-on, and made me feel confident and capable. Being in-person allowed me to make great relationships with my classmates who became my friends. I would recommend this course from anyone who has an interest in post production or someone rusty at a particular software. Thank you MEW!
When I went to Manhattan Edit Workshop I was admittedly skeptical. I went to film school and felt confident in my abilities. But, when I enrolled in their intensive all my worries flew out the window. All of the teachers at the school are incredible. They’re not just knowledgeable and thoughtful teachers. They’re real people who are there to give you career guidance, help you figure out what areas of your skill set need refining, and most significantly continue to offer support long after you’ve completed their program. I enrolled in multiple courses after taking their intensive and each one was extremely valuable. My workflow and expertise across softwares made me so much more efficient as a freelance filmmaker. Under a year after my work with MEW I got a full time job and that’s because MEW taught me the importance of hard skills and how to present yourself. Lastly, I made long lasting friendships with my peers. Thank you so much to Mark, Janet, Chad, and Josh!
The 6 Week Intensive Workshop at Manhattan Edit Workshop was a great experience! Mark and Janet teach you so much but still give you a lot of time to edit and apply what you just learned. My favorite part of the workshop was when we visited Radical Media. It was so cool seeing what a real post house looks like. I also loved meeting with the artist in residence. It was great learning from an experienced editor and even getting their feedback on the work we did in class. I highly recommend Manhattan Edit Workshop for anyone who is serious in pursuing a career in editing!
