In 2016, I came to the LDCENY with hopes of starting my own business. I had the pleasure of meeting with Gail Davis, who is the director of LDCENY. She was nothing short of amazing and often met with me to ensure my short term and long term goals for my business were met. Now, I'm a business owner and is continously building up my clientele. For that, I will always be grateful for Gail and the LDCENY. However, lately Ms.Davis and all those working for the LDCENY has been hard to reach or blatantly ignoring my attempts to reach out to them. The worst part is that I've referred several people to this organization, but to Gail specifically. They've been getting the same lack of communication I've been experiencing. Though my experiences were great in the beginning, I cannot truly verbalize how disappointed I am at the inconsistencies in communication, especially coming from Ms. Davis. The purpose of this organization is to assist members of community, especially those who aim to start a business. However, your purpose becomes void if you're ignoring those very same members. Please do better.
