Jill Glist is a breath of fresh air in the world of recruiters and connectors; I cannot recommend her highly enough. The recruitment process can feel degrading but no so with Jill. She is incredibly honest and transparent about roles; there are no surprises or bad deals. As a candidate, you can count on her to help you strategize so you approach the interview and job fully prepared. Likewise, she offers her support long after the initial hiring process should you need it. I will turn to Lambent for roles again and again as I don't feel like I am just another name in their pool. Jill and her team are candid, loyal and true upstanding professionals. Most of all, I appreciate Jill's excellent sense of humor. How refreshing to find someone who doesn't take herself so seriously and can laugh throughout an otherwise stressful process.
We worked with Lambent to hire an assistant to help us with our move and with a bunch of pre-move work like coordinating contractors. The assistant we got assigned, while perfectly nice, was incompetent. The owner admitted the assigned assistant fell short of their standards and that she had her own doubts about this assistant based on first hand experience, but they still assigned her out to a client. The owner offered a partial refund and a credit for future services, which seemed like a fair handling of the situation. Upon asking questions about how the credit worked, the owner said she was revoking the credit because I "didn't understand the offer." I was surprised at the lack of professionalism during the entire experience and would not recommend Lambent to anyone.
I had a excellent experience working with Lambent Services for matching me with my latest assistant. What I appreciate about Lambent was how seamless the process was of them hearing out that I specifically needed a part-time match and how easy it was for me to look at candidates and find someone that was the right fit for me. I'm very happy with the service.
