We received a letter from the IRS with a penalty and amount due after we got our taxes done by Dennis. It took weeks/months of calling the office before they finally responded to my husband. There was some more back and forth between us and the IRS. Finally, Dennis told us to pay just the amount due, and they would take care of the penalty. We are still receiving letters from the IRS saying we owe them money for the penalty, and we cannot get a response from anyone here AGAIN. I assume we are too small potatoes to be of relevancy to Dennis, but we are incredibly frustrated to now be paying a penalty that was a) caused by him and b) has accrued more interest since they “were taking care of it” We still don’t even know what all we owe to get the IRS off our backs. Incredibly disappointed and frustrated.
