When it was finally time to upgrade our travel trailer we went straight to Curtis Trailers as returning customers. We had a great experience the first time and were even more impressed with our new experience with Josh Sharpe. He helped us find the perfect travel trailer to fit all our needs. Josh went above and beyond to make sure we understood what our new trailer could do and got us an amazing deal. We had a blast hanging out with him during the process while he explained everything each step of the way. We highly recommend him for his friendly customer service skills and his knowledge of RV trailers. Thanks for making the decision easy!

(( UPDATE)) Keep getting hit by a nasty smell. Well i just took off the panel in the storage bay, and the black water tank was not installed correctly. It has a hole in it and raw sewage is in the belly of the RV, that may explain why i have been sick. At this point i have an un usable RV. In short when your salesperson says we pull all the rigs inside and fix all the problems on trades they are just blowing bull shit smoke. I was going to put together a detailed pictures and explanation for issues. But after walking into the rv and smelling sewer again im done and this review needs to go up. And the smell is coming out of the main storage bay so that means all the covers need to be removed from the frame to expose the tanks and figure out the leak. The first thing i noticed was an odd smell coming from the intake vent for the furnace. Pulled the cover and there is fresh soft rat crap. So that will be fun to clean up. The fridge light was out, ok did some testing and the control module fuse was blown, replaced fuse and it blew again. That line is connected to the fans that cool the space behind the fridge. So it was not operational when i left, and i go back to we fix everything before we put them up for sale. For now i did a work around so the fans operate. Bedroom slide, got it setup on site and rolled the slide out and all the seals separated from the mount. You could grab them and pull them off. They flapped in the wind. But i was told they fix everything before they are sold. The L slide, when extended does not seal inside, i could put my hand between the slide and D seal on the inside. And it was not set to roll out and be level. I adjusted and got that slide level and rolls out to a point it seals. Now the apposing slide, crack at the top in the filon. meaning there is a big opening to let in water was not addressed. That leads to rot and delam. I will get it covered for now. The big issue on this slide is its not centered, its mashed against the back end and the front end gaskets barely touch the slide. So at this point im getting things out of the rv, it will be returned and to Curtis and im good with taking a repo hit on this one.

My family has been saving our coins to make a trailer purchase and I'm so happy I finally pulled the trigger on it and was connected with Nick Gaubatz. What we went to see isn't what we left the lot with and thats a very good thing because we left with a fifth wheel that would work out perfectly for my 7 and 14 year old kiddos. I think Nick showed us just about 6 or 7 different trailers but each time he was patient and was able to answer all of the questions we had. I didn't know if I would agree to their financing terms but once again, Nick hit it out the ballpark and the financing was favorable and agreeable. And last best thing, you get to shop in their parts store at an employee discount to get stocked up on supplies and every other month they host an RV Owner Workshop to get acclimated. Let me tell you there is A LOT to do, but its totally fun and will become routine. Our friends and family have all said our kids will thank us for the memories made with our little vacation home on wheels and because of that, I owe a HUGE MAHALO NUI to Nick and his team at Curtis Trailers.

I called Curtis Trailers because they carried a particular make and model that my wife and I were interested in. We ask for an RV sales rep that was knowledgeable because we had a lot of questions and knew we were going to have special electrical system requests. They put us on the phone with Josh Sharpe. Josh was very knowledgeable and made our request of having the battery and inverter/charger upgraded through the purchase negotiation easy. As well, Josh was friendly and very easy to communicate with through the process. The mechanic in the shop did a great job installing the new equipment and even the parts store was very helpful when we went to get all the items we would need to use our new Cougar the very first time. We definitely would recommend working with Curtis Trailers in Beaverton!
