Spent 10 years working in Finance. Love Creative Planning and send every friend i have who is thinking about getting a financial planner to them. Appreciate the diversified investment portfolio strategy, as that makes the most sense for investors in general and i dont have to think too much or worry about it. Appreciate that they have a low touch relatively passive investment style which limits you from getting hammered in fees. Appreciate that they are not affiliated with a securities arm, so they actually put you in the best low fee ETFs and mutual funds rather than their own company's funds. But most of all i appreciate all the non-investment based stuff they do, like making sure our insurance is correct, that our financial plan works, and with a thoughtful but objective voice of reason when i start getting wild ideas. My wife and I refer to our adviser as our financial dad, bc that's what it feels like. He keeps us on track, helps us pursue our goals and is in general great to interact with. Most of all i appreciate that, if something happens to me, there is someone there that my wife can lean on as she takes over the finances. Could not recommend this company, nor our advisor Cameron, nearly enough. 5 stars, would give 6 if i could.
