I’ve been using BodySpec for over a year now, before it when it was just the vans and now the primary location near Love Field. Any location ive been to has been similar in terms of efficiency. I’ve never been there for more than 5 min, never waited, and always had my scans within the hour. No complaints
I've been here a couple of times, but this was the first time I had a personable experience. Eric was incredibly kind and attentive. He was friendly and welcoming. It honestly made a huge difference. He adds little touches to make your scan as enjoyable as possible. He brings in a diffuser and plays relaxing music. 10/10 experience
Ahhh, so much to say about BodySpec and the scans. ⚠️ Long and heartfelt review ❤️ - I started my fitness journey in 01/2024. I started walking and just being mindful of my eating habits. - April, 2024: I had my first DEXA scan. I was 5’5” 186 lbs and 43.5% body fat. - June, 2024: I had my second scan and upped my workouts but body fat went up to 43.7%. - September, 2024: I had lost a few lbs of fat and a few lbs of muscle. - December, 2024: By this point, I had been counting my macros since August and I had lost 6.2 lbs of fat and less than 1 lb of muscle. By far, the best results I had since starting this journey. - March, 2025: I had been lifting since the last scan in Dec. Lost fat and gained muscle. The best DEXA thus far. - April, 2025: This was my sixth scan. I had lost over 20 lbs of fat, gained back some of my muscle that I had lost on this journey to now only making me net negative a few lbs. This was the best DEXA. I was now in the “green” category in bone density, lean muscle mass, appendicular lean muscle mass, and visceral fat. Only “yellow” category is the body fat now being at 35.5%. I say all this to say: by trying different things and doing DEXA scans, I learned what was working for my body and what wasn’t. Having the scans reflect my hard work inspired me to continue on this journey. Some of the scans were hard for me to see but you can’t grow unless you acknowledge your deficits. And I was full of deficits lol. Now, here is my review of the actual experiences. ⭐️ For the brick and mortar location. So easy to get in and out. The mobile clinics are fine too, my first scan was at the mobile but the dates and times aren’t as flexible. ⭐️ Clean place. ⭐️ Kind staff. ⭐️ Get a lot of bang for your buck. Received a 7 page pdf with each scan in addition to an overview. ⭐️ Life changing. Hope this encourages you and a reminder that your best and healthy body is a marathon, not a sprint.
