Dropped off my documents in early February because this sort of stuff makes me nervous and I like the peace of mind of getting it over with. It’s April 4th and they haven’t filed it yet. Have called the office, spoken to different people at the front desk, no one was sure about the status of my documents. Finally got a call with a simple and seemingly unnecessary clarification question on the last week of March with an apology for the delay. It’s now April 4th, still no filing. Called HQs and the best they could do was schedule an appointment for me to pick up my documents so I can take them elsewhere because they STILL have not been filed. What a fiasco. Thank goodness I’m just a nervous Nelly and don’t actually owe anything and I’m single, no dependents, one steady full time job, nothing complex about my filing at all. After reading the disasters other folks had with their simple filings, maybe I dodged a bullet! Gonna take that as a blessing in disguise and never going to this or any HR block again.
