Local HD Vest financial advisors are good, but dealing with HD Vest itself as a client is horrible. The website is useless, the call center is painful to deal with and the staff refuses to help. I have been trying for months to get all my accounts consolidated and two 401K roll-overs done. I have hours invested in talking to rude call center reps, hold time and lost forms. When I need help with a transaction I am always told they can’t help and to call someone else. If you are looking for a helpful on-line investment experience, this is NOT the firm to use. They like paper, lots of it, and they hide behind the local advisor.
